SMartHats.com was founded by Stefani McMurrey, a native Dallasite who purchased her first cowboy hat at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT. Based on the overwhelming interest that others had in purchasing this red wool felt western hat (right off of her head), she decided to start HatGirls.com. Later, in response to the demand for more masculine hats for men, and a more unisex name for the brand, SMartHats.com was born.

Now, HatGirls.com and SMartHats.com hats can be seen on the heads of some of the most beautiful and fashionable men and women in the country. Expanding on this product line, we now offer an extensive potpourri of styles, fabrics and one-of-a-kind, handmade, original designs for fashion aficionados.
